Alpha Delta Pi sorority at UM has successfully connected with the Regional Salvation Army (communicating with Captain Michael Chisolm) to donate their sorority house mattresses for use in their Salvation Army shelters and houses throughout the regional area.
The Regional Salvation Army is located in Tupelo, but they serve the regional area so the mattresses could be used at any of those counties’ Salvation Army locations. Mr. Michael will have a few team members with him, but we need desperately volunteer help!
We need volunteers beginning at 12PM tomorrow, Friday, July 10, to help these very kind gentlemen who volunteer for the RSA to move approximately 60 twin-XL mattresses from the second floor of the ADPi house at 607 Rebel Drive, University, MS 38677 to their loading trucks outside. Mattresses will be being moved from lofted bed spaces, so lifting will be required.
