Volunteers at OXCM will play a key role in ensuring the
smooth operation of the market! Your involvement can include one, two, or all
three shifts.
Shift 1 -- Set-Up (12:30 PM - 3:00 PM): Volunteers will help with
the market's physical setup, including arranging vendor booths, signage, and
other necessary preparations to get the market ready for the day. It’s a great
opportunity to work together as a team and contribute to creating an inviting
atmosphere.
Shift 2 -- Market Greeters (3:00 PM - 6:30 PM): During the market’s
operating hours, volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks such as
supporting vendors, helping market-goers with questions, and ensuring the
market is running smoothly. Volunteers may also serve as greeters, welcoming
visitors and making sure everyone feels comfortable and informed.
Shift 3 -- Breakdown (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM): After the market ends,
volunteers will help with the breakdown process, ensuring all items are packed
up and the space is cleaned and cleared. These volunteers will need to lift
50lbs +
Throughout the day, there will also be opportunities to engage with market-goers by talking to them about their experiences and handing out market merchandise. Your support will help create a vibrant and enjoyable market experience for everyone!
