Lectures will be held at the Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library (401 Bramlett Blvd) at Noon in the auditorium of the library. They are free and open to the public!
The May 7th speaker is Amanda Klenke, a Research and Development Botanist for National Center of Natural Products Research (NCNPR) at the Maynard Quimby Medicinal Plant Garden (MPG) at the University of Mississippi.
Amanda recieved her Bachelor's Degree in "Plant and Soil Science," from SOuthern Illinois University Carbondale. She has worked for the University for 11 years in various roles. She has been a Certified Arborist since 2020.
The title of her presentation is: How to Utilize the Medicinal Plants You Have Right at Your Fingertips."
