The Oxford Fire Department Pickleball Tournament 2024 held on November 16, 2024. The tournament is a "Round Robin" style tournament and will last one day (warm up is at 8 am and the tournament starts at 9 am). There will be two categories: men's doubles and women's doubles. Each category will be split into 4 groups - Beginner, Intermediate, Proficient, and Advanced. The cost to play in the tournament is $50 per team. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be given after each round.  The mission of the Firefighter Community Fund is to provide vital support to families and individuals in need throughout our community. We are proud to assist organizations like the Baptist Memorial Cancer Center, provide Thanksgiving meals for low-income families, donate to Toys for Tots, support Commodores Cares, and distribute LovePacks for children in need. With your support, the Firefighter Community Fund will have the privilege of serving over 500 families throughout the L.O.U. community this year. Last year, we provided nearly 2,000 meals and gifts to those in need. Right now, there are over 300 families facing challenges during the holiday season, so our work continues. We invite you to support our efforts by joining us on Saturday, November 16, 2024, for a day of pickleball and networking. By bringing together the community to this event, we are able to amplify the Firefighter Community Fund’s mission and make a meaningful impact in our community.
