We are expecting a donation tomorrow at 8AM. 
We are looking for volunteers to help unloading the truck.

Depending on the truck, volunteers may be asked to help organize the donations or take a load to the sister sites.

As our community continues to recover, nonprofit organizations will gradually resume regular operations. Volunteer opportunities at the pantry will continue, though daily needs may look different during this recovery period. Additional volunteers may be needed to fill roles that are typically covered, as some regular volunteers have been reassigned to other recovery efforts. The Pantry of Oxford and Lafayette County is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to lend a hand during the week. Your help is crucial in preparing grocery bags and delivering them curbside to our shoppers.

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes to ensure you're ready for any task.

Each day brings new opportunities to make a difference, so flexibility is key!

Every month, a different manager oversees operations. While some groups have plenty of volunteers, others could really use your help. The needs may vary, and last-minute requests are common, so your willingness to step in is greatly appreciated.

Help Needed on Tuesdays!

The Oxford and Lafayette County Pantry is looking for strong, able-bodied volunteers to assist with unloading truck deliveries, stocking shelves, and inventorying supplies.

If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and move things around, we need your help every Tuesday. Your efforts will ensure that our pantry stays well-stocked and ready to serve the community!

IMPORTANT: Regardless of signing up through STO, volunteers must ALSO register through Samaritan's Purse to serve this task! You WILL NOT receive any confirmation or additional information about this task from STO.

Samaritan's Purse: Oxford, Mississippi - Winter Storm Fern Response

There is an urgent volunteer need to support homeowners affected by Winter Storm Fern. Volunteers will serve families with debris cleanup and tree work.

No prior skills are required.

All volunteers will be guided and supervised by experienced team leads to ensure work is done safely and effectively.

To serve, volunteers must sign up directly through the organization’s volunteer portal.

Important Safety Reminder:
STO is not deploying volunteer groups for debris cleanup. For your safety and the safety of homeowners, we will only refer volunteers to trusted, vetted, and affiliated nonprofits providing debris removal services. We will continue to share verified opportunities and specific needs as they are communicated to us.
