Description

Museum Docents serve as the welcoming face of the University Museum. They assist with visitor services, provide guided tours for groups, and help create a positive and engaging experience for all museum guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and provide general information about the Museum
  • Lead tours of exhibitions and collections (training required)
  • Answer visitor questions and help direct them through the galleries
  • Represent the Museum in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications:

  • Interest in art, history, culture, or museums (no prior experience required)
  • Comfortable interacting with the public and willing to learn to lead tours
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
