The week of March 23rd thru 29th brings us a variety of events. On the 23rd we have the LOU Symphony Side by Side concert featuring UM and LOU musicians. I will not be here for this event, so I am looking for someone to be point person, aka volunteer manager. You must have been a volunteer prior to the Fall 2025 semester to sign up for this position. On March 27th, we have our Children's Book Festival events. The 9am event is for 1st graders and the 11am is for 5th graders. On March 29th, we have Verdi Requiem which will feature the UM and Memphis Choir as well as the Memphis Symphony Orchestra:

We lost one of our events the week of March 30th, so the only event we have is on the 31st when we host the Mississippi Scholastic Press Association Awards Ceremony. This will be celebrating state high school journalism programs. This is a daytime event with a report time of 11:30am:

PS - I'll send out a reminder email, but if you're first event is coming up and you didn't make the orientation, please arrive 20 minutes before the shift time in Sign Up Genius and we'll do a crash course training. As a reminder, you'll want to wear black on bottom, white on top and comfy shoes.
