Volunteer Opportunity: Memory Makers Day Program

Do you have a vibrant, outgoing personality and a heart for making meaningful connections? Join our Memory Makers Day Program, where we serve individuals living with dementia and early memory loss. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a warm, engaging environment that supports socialization and joyful moments for participants.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage participants in friendly, meaningful conversation

  • Lead or assist with activities such as games, crafts, music, or light exercise

  • Help foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages connection and community

Getting Started:

  • First-time volunteers will shadow and participate in activities during their initial visit.

  • At the end of the day, you’ll meet with program staff to discuss the opportunity for a long-term placement.

Long-Term Commitment:

  • If both volunteer and staff agree to continue, volunteers will responsible to provide their own background check.

  • Long-term volunteers are asked to commit to at least 3 months of service.

This is a great opportunity for compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing memory changes—while also gaining valuable skills in communication, leadership, and caregiving.
