Diaper Bank Volunteer
The North Mississippi Exchange Family Center, part of the National Exchange Club's network of Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect Centers, has been serving North Mississippi from its Oxford location for over 25 years. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for at-risk families by breaking the cycle of child abuse and neglect through comprehensive prevention, intervention, and educational services.
The Center is also the home to the Oxford Diaper Bank, providing essential support to families in need. The Diaper Bank operates every second Tuesday of the month from Noon to 6 p.m. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist clients in selecting diapers and performing various tasks to ensure smooth operation.
Volunteer Tasks:
- Client Assistance: Help clients select the appropriate sizes and quantities of diapers.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize storage areas.
- Registration: Register new clients and maintain accurate records of diaper distributions.
- Hygiene and Cleanliness: Ensure the Diaper Bank area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Education and Outreach: Provide clients with information about additional resources and services available through the Center.
