Join us for an impactful day as part of the March of the Mayors initiative, where volunteers from seven cities will unite to pack 1,100 food boxes filled with essential items to support families in need.
Each city will contribute key ingredients, and Oxford’s contribution is 1,100 cans of tuna or salmon—a vital source of protein for the boxes.
As a volunteer, you’ll help assemble these boxes and prepare them for distribution to participating communities. At the end of the day, Oxford will proudly bring home its share of the boxes to uplift our neighbors in need.
What to Expect:
- Volunteers should provide their own transportation.
- Eat before the event or bring snacks.
- Team up with other volunteers in a fun and fast-paced environment.
- Help ensure every box is packed with care and attention.
- Be part of a multi-city effort to support hunger relief in our communities.
Why It Matters:
This initiative showcases the power of communities working together to create change. Your time and effort will help provide essential food items to families who need them most.
What to Bring:
- Your STO tshirt and/or lanyard.
- Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
- A positive attitude and willingness to lend a hand.
Let’s show the state what the LOU community is capable of and make a real difference together. Sign up today to help pack boxes and be part of this extraordinary event!
